Unlike most sellers here, Dust 2 Dollars shows the complete gun in our pictures along with a detailed description for your consideration. We offer you a Smith & Wesson K-22 Masterpiece Magnum Rimfire Model 48 “No Dash” 4-Screw Version .22 Magnum Revolver that was Made in 1959 making it C&R Transferable. The pistol shows an old re-blue with later factory target grips. This is a 1st variation Smith & Wesson Model 48 "No Dash". Chambered for the .22 WMR A.K.A.22 Magnum, this revolver was built on the square butt K-frame with four screws. It wears the long 8-3/8" pinned barrel (better for velocity) and recessed chambers. The re-blued finish shows muzzle wear and areas of very light pitting as shown. The left side of the barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON”. The yoke cut is marked “K374028 / MOD. 48”. The butt is marked “K374028”. The right side of the barrel is marked “22 M.R.F. CTG”. The right side of the frame is marked with the four line Marcas Registradas address. The side plate is marked with the S&W logo. The yoke and grip frame have matching assembly numbers as shown with the ejector star having a matching serial number. SALE PENDING!
