Description:
Smith & Wesson Model 629-1 double-action revolver chambered in .44 Remington Magnum with a 6-inch barrel and stainless steel construction. The Model 629-1 is built on Smith & Wesson's large N-frame and is well regarded for its durability, accuracy, and smooth action. The 629-1 engineering change was produced during the 1980s and eliminated the pinned barrel and recessed cylinder found on earlier models. This revolver remains in overall very good condition. The stainless finish retains an attractive appearance with mild handling marks and light wear consistent with normal use. The factory wood target stocks show more moderate handling wear than the metal surfaces, including finish wear, scratches, and dings that are consistent with regular carry and use, but they remain solid and fully serviceable. .44 Magnum
