Follow our listings to see more items from this amazing collection!*** Manufacturer: Smith and Wesson Model: K-22 Masterpiece Pre-Model 17 Class A Engraved Action: DA/SA Revolver Caliber: .22LR Capacity: 6 Serial: K161332 Barrel: 6 inches Finish: Blue (Class A Engraved) Stock/Grips: Deluxe Smooth Wood with Emblems This is a BEAUTIFULLY Class A Engraved Smith and Wesson model K-22 Masterpiece Pre-Model 17 double and single action square butt K-frame revolver that is chambered in .22 Long Rifle. It has a pinned solid rib barrel that is 6 inches long with a bore that is in excellent condition. According to the Smith & Wesson factory letter, it was shipped on May 14, 1954 to Rex Firearms Co., New York City, NY as a Class A engraved with a blue finish, and special deluxe fancy wood grips. The 2-piece grips have silver S&W emblems. The finish is in excellent condition as are the engravings along with the original grips. The underside of the grips are unmarked. It has a six shot fluted cylinder with a checkered cylinder release. The left side of the barrel is marked "SMITH & WESSON". The left side of the frame is marked with a small S&W emblem. The right side of the barrel is marked "22 LONG RIFLE CTG". The left side of the frame is marked with the 4 line Marcas Registradas. The yoke and yoke cut are marked "43832". The underlug is marked with the serial number "K 161332" and the letter "B" It has a non-shrouded ejector rod. The front sight is a partridge blade with a yellow plastic insert on a raised serrated ramp pinned to the barrel rib. The rear sight is a flat top, serrated white outline square-notch leaf in a micrometer-click base that is adjustable for windage and elevation. The top of the rib and rear sight base are serrated for glare reduction. The revolver comes in a fitted wood presentation case with a yellow felt lining. Inside the case is a cleaning rod and the Smith and Wesson factory letter. This revolver qualifies as a curio and relic and can ship where legally allowed. This revolver would make a great addition to any firearms collection. Check out the pictures and you will see this is a great find!
