S&W Model K38 Masterpiece Target Revolver in .38Spl. SN #K66756. Mfg. in 1948. This Pre-Model 14 Revolver has a 6" barrel with an excellent bright bore with strong rifling. The Walnut grips are in very good condition for their age with some very slight wear. The blued metal finish is in very good condition for it's age with some spotting possible from a past re-bluing. 6 shot capacity. Double action. Ribbed barrel. Adjustable rear sight with pinned Patridge front sight. K-frame with 5-screw.Short cocking action. In original Gold Box without paperwork. Weight: 2.08 lbs. Trigger Pull: 3 1/4 lbs. Ships to Lower 48 W/ Insurance $30.00.
