This is an excellent example that they were just built better back in the day. It's a 1956 S&W pre-27 5 screw with the iconic 3.5" barrel and chambered in 357 mag. The revolver has all kinds of honest holster wear yet the mechanics remain fantastic. It has perfect timing on each hole, tight lockup and no cylinider end shake. Smooth double action. Best of all the grip frame, barrel, cylinder, yolk and even the magna grips all have the same factory serial number! No box or paperwork. Killer carry gun or?
