EARLY .32 HAND EJECTOR MODEL 1903, 2ND CHANGE, #75XXX, ONLY MADE 1906-1909.
Description: EARLY .32 HAND EJECTOR MODEL 1903, 2ND CHANGE, #75XXX, ONLY MADE 1906-1909. This is a 4 ¼” blued example in really sharp condition. All numbers match on the barrel, frame, cylinder and inside the hard rubber grips. All screws are excellent. Bright blue remains on most of the revolver with only very light edge wear and a few light brown spots of flaking on the cylinder- minor. About the only real blue wear is on the grips straps which is typical from handling or holster carry. Blue on the butt is strong. All markings are sharp and clear, front sight has not been filed or altered, good case colors on the trigger and hammer, tight action, exc. bore, exc. screws. These are truly wonderfully made, hand fitted Smiths from the turn of the last century. The quality is simply superb in every way. Finally, these pre-war Hand Ejector revolvers are getting the attention they deserve from collectors and shooters. One of the most perfectly proportioned and balanced revolvers ever made, this kind of quality and workmanship simply isn’t available any more. A bargain at $595.
