S&W .38/200 British Service Revolver
Description:
Serial #777429, .38/200 (.38 S&W), 4" barrel with an excellent, bright bore.
This revolver has matching numbers on the frame, cylinder, extractor, yoke, and barrel with the metal retaining 95-97% of the original commercial finish that has faded slightly on a few of the high edges and projections, and there are some mild surface scratches ahead of the S&W logo on the sideplate, as well as a noticeable turn-ring on the cylinder.
Crisp British acceptance stamps are present on the left side of the frame.
The checkered walnut S&W medallion grips are original, numbered to the gun on the interior, and are in fine shape with some very light handling marks and small blemishes.
The lock-up is tight, and the action functions flawlessly.
This is an excellent British service S&W overall, and would make
a great addition to any collection.
