SMITH & WESSON Pre Model 43 Air Weight from 1955

Description:
This is one of the better air weight S&W 22s that I have seen in a long time. This is a flat latch 6 shot revolver, built on the J frame with S/N 58XX, that was built in early 1955. The original blue is in great shape (98%), save for the ring on the aluminum cyinder, which is quite common because of the softer metal composition. Pic. 9 shows reflection, see pic. 15 to clarify. The trigger and hammer show quite a bit of the original case color. The original diamond grips are in great shape, with no cracks or repairs. The 3 1/2" barrel shows perfect strong rifling, and has the original sight package intact. All in all a beatiful 68 year old example of a quite rare piece. $995.00 TOTAL, shipped and insured to an FFL, or C&R ONLY in the lower 48 states. I prefer PMO's, or other forms of Certified Funds.
