FACTORY ENGRAVED S & W DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER IN CALIBER 38

Description:
4 inch barrel with a good bore showing some areas of light pitting and strong rifling. This revolver has the typical factory pattern engraving with wide flowing scroll work and punch-dot background. The metal surfaces retain a good amount of original nickel finish with some areas of flaking. The hammer and trigger are a smokey case color. The triggerguard has flaked to mostly a gray. The smooth mother-of-pearl grips have the gold S&W medallions and are very good with some light handling marks. There is a small chip at the top corner of right panel and a small repair at the top corner of the left. The action requires mechanical adjustment as the cylinder stop is worn down and timing is off. This is a good representation of a factory engraved S & W double action.
