Published Smith & Wesson 32 HE Model 1903 Target Model 1st Change Revolver
Description: Serial #7611, .32 S&W Long, 6 inch round pinned barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is a Second Model .32 Hand Ejector Model 1903 first change manufactured by Smith & Wesson circa 1904-06. This revolver was featured as part of the excellent article published by Gaston Comeau, Ed Buffaloe and Craid Smith in their article "The 1903 Smith & Wesson .32 Hand Ejector (the Second Model .32 Hand Ejector) a Detailed Investigation." (Click Lick below) The barrel, frame and cylinder retain about 85-90% original bright blue with thinning around the muzzle and cylinder and scattered freckling on the right side plate. The trigger and hammer show much of the original case-colors. The S&W hard rubber medallion checkered target stocks are very fine with good detail and some mild flattening of the points. It is sighted with a pinned blade front sight and an adjustable rear target sight. The action functions properly with a tight lock up. A near excellent example of the desirable Target Model.
