Description: Standard configuration S&W 1905 4th variation target with the inserted bead front sight and fully adjustable rear sight. Five screw K frame with pin barrel and six shot fluted cylinder. Color case hardened hammer and trigger. Serrated front and rear grip straps. Finely checkered diamond S&W grips with silver medallions. Right grip with SN. Added Markings to inside of left panel “JRB/C 3/8/50”. Synopsis: Scarce, super condition S&W 1905, Military & Police, 4th variation, Target with 6” barrel and “Call” bead patridge front sight. Condition: Bright and vivid original salt blue at least 98-99%. Faint cylinder ring and a few tiny scratches about an inch in front of the barrel lug. Comparable condition grips, the right panel having a tiny chip at the top front edge. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. An absolutely wonderful S&W 1905 Target that would be difficult to improve upon, short of finding one NIB.
