This is a very nice example of an original Smith & Wesson Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman from the early 1960s. It has a six inch barrel and retains maybe 97% of the original blue. There isn't much actual bluing loss, just a bit on the cylinder, but there is oxidation in a few areas. C&R eligible. Mint bore and functions smoothly. Beautiful grips with only minor handling wear. The right panel has two serial numbers on it for some reason but one of those numbers is the matching numbered panel to the gun.
