Follow our listings to see more items from this amazing collection!*** Manufacturer: Smith and Wesson Model: K-22 Masterpiece Model 18-2 Class A Engraved Action: DA/SA Revolver Caliber: .22 Long Rifle Capacity: 6 Serial: 540805 Barrel: 4 inches Finish: Blue (Class A Engraved) Stock/Grips: Simulated Stag Horn with Emblems This is a Smith and Wesson K-22 Masterpiece Model 18-2 that is chambered in .22 Long Rifle. The K-22 Masterpiece Model 18-2 was made from 1961-1967. According to the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson 3rd Edition, this revolver was made in 1963. The engravings, condition, and quality of this revolver makes it stand out from its peers. The pinned barrel is 4 inches long with a bore which is in excellent condition. It is a square butt, K target frame, and five screw 6-shot double and single action revolver. It has a six shot fluted cylinder with a checkered cylinder release. The serial number "K540805" is on the frame on the yoke cut and butt. The left side of the barrel is marked "SMITH & WESSON". The right side of the barrel is marked "22 LONG RIFLE CTG.". The right side of the frame has the large S&W emblem, marked "MADE IN THE U.S.A.", and has the 4 line Marcas Registradas The yoke cut is marked "9", "K540805", "MOD. 18-2". The yoke is marked "V", "8", "3", and "62832". It has an ejector rod that is not shrouded The timing and lock up are perfect based on visual inspection. The blue finish is in excellent condition. The Class A engravings from the factory are in BEAUTIFUL condition. It has a case color wide checkered hammer and wide serrated trigger. It has a fixed Baughman Quick Draw serrated ramp front sight. The rear sight is a serrated square-notch that is fully adjustable. The top strap and rib are grooved to reduce glare. It has 2-piece simulated stag horn grips with silver S&W emblems. The underside of the grips are unmarked. The grips are in great shape. The back strap and front strap are serrated. This revolver qualifies as a curio and relic and can ship where legally allowed.
