Scarce S&W Model 39-2 Connecticut State Police Commemorative pistol, 9mmP, one of 701 ensembles made in 1979, SN: A562057 matched to CSP Badge #279, complete with all accessories. Made to commemorate the Connecticut State Police 75th Anniversary, this NIB pistol has a nickeled slide and black anodized frame, the markings on the frame and the added Connecticut State Police seal highlighted in gold. Fixed red ramp front sight and adjustable rear sight. The top of barrel marked "9 MM". The left side of slide bears the usual S&W name and 4-line address, the frame marked with "CSP 279", SN: "A562057", "MODEL 39-2", and the S&W logo. The right side of slide is engraved "CONNECTICUT STATE POLICE 75TH ANNIVERSARY 1903-1978" with "PATS PENDING", the frame with the Connecticut State Police stamp. Smooth walnut S&W medallion-inserted grips. Two matching magazines with blued bodies and nickeled floorplates marked "S & W" and "CSP 279".
