Nickel Plated w/ FACTORY BOX Smith & Wesson .32 DA Revolver C&R PEARL GRIP
TURN OF THE CENTURY Self Defense Revolver
Description: Nickel Plated w/ FACTORY BOX Smith & Wesson .32 DA Revolver C&R PEARL GRIP TURN OF THE CENTURY Self Defense Revolver Here we present a C&R 4th Model Smith & Wesson .32 Double Action Revolver, made circa the early 1900s in Springfield, Massachusetts. The Smith & Wesson Fourth Models were produced between 1883 and 1909 with a total production of approximately 239,600 examples. As mentioned above, this revolver was chambered for the .32 S&W cartridge and was usually equipped with a 3” or 3-1/2” barrel. They were fitted with a 5-shot fluted cylinder and were either blue finished or nickel plated. They came with a top break design and round butt. The serial number ranged from 43406 to 282999. This model was quite similar in appearance to the Third Model, except the trigger guard is oval shaped instead of squared back as in the previous models. These were petite and handy little guns that chambered 5 cartridges, perfect for the pocket and enough to get out of most scrapes. With gangsters, and career criminals running rampant, this example would have been the “pocket advantage” a person needed. The overall condition is good. Original finish. The action functions, although the cylinder does not lock up. Bright, rifled bore. Markings are legible. Numbers match. Both pearl grips are vibrant and remain in very good shape. The included box is good, and period correct, but is for a .38 New Departure. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 3-1/2 inches. Caliber: .32 S&W Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $1400 #233483 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
