Up for your consideration is a very nice Smith-Wesson 34-1, serial #94812, J-frame, square butt, flat latch, 4" barrel, 6 shot .22LR, revolver. The bluing rates excellent with no rust or pitts. The bore is bright, rates excellent with no issues. Barely a turn line, and a very slight wear at the crown. The hammer and trigger still have strong case color.
The grips are excellent, with no chips or cracks, with diamond brass inlay. The right grip panel has matching serial number. The model 34-1 was introduced in 1960 with the J-frame. This revolver dates to 1967-1968. The M-prefix was introduced 1969. It comes with the owners manual, vapor paper, and in excellent condition original S-W box. The front of the box does say " Smith & Wesson 22/32 kit Gun ,Blue Finish , Model 34 . I forgot to take that picture . These early Smith Flat latches are some of the very best made by Smith-Wesson . You will not be disappointed.
