Smith & Wesson Model 38/44 Heavy Duty 38 Special Revolver - Collectible Pre War
Description: Smith & Wesson 38/44 Pre-War -- .38 special caliber, 5" barrel length, S/N 55208. Left side of the barrel marked "Smith & Wesson." Right side of the frame marked with Smith & Wesson logo. Right side of the barrel marked with caliber. Six-shot fluted cylinder. Blue finish with case color hammer and trigger. This is an very good example of the Pre-War 38/44. It shows a light turn mark on the cylinder. The grips are stag with a bit more jigging added to fill out grip surface. This is a very strong gun overall. The re-blue finish is 100% with no visible wear and retains most of the case color on trigger and hammer. Bore is bright and shinny and this eye catching S&W is mechanically perfect.(holster sold separately) This is considered a Curio & Relic firearm and can be shipped directly to you in the USA if you hold a C&R License, or you may choose to have it shipped to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) Dealer.
