Smith & Wesson Model 629-5, .44 Magnum, Satin Stainless Steel Revolver
Description: Smith & Wesson Model 629-5, .44 Magnum, satin stainless steel, single-action/double-action revolver, with a 4-inch barrel (added), fluted cylinder, target hammer (.500-inch wide) with checkered spur, combat trigger (.312-inch wide, smooth face), after-market wood grips, adjustable white-outline rear sight, and red ramp front sight. The overall length of the gun is 9 inches; overall height is 6½ (including front sight); its unloaded weight 2 pounds, 10.3 ounces. The year of manufacture is 2001. Accessories and extras include an S&W one-piece S&W cardboard box (not original to this gun), extra set of after-market wood grips, original 6-inch barrel (original to this gun), original S&W cleaning kit (cleaning rod, bore brush, and bore mop), two speed loaders (like new), a Galco OWB holster (like new), a speed-loader holster (like new), an RCBS .44 magnum three-die set (content as shown in photo), and an RCBS .44 magnum roll/C seater die (content as shown in photo). The overall condition of this gun is 98 percent. The reason I give it a 98 percent is because it does not have the original Hogue grips, but after-market wood grips (very nice). Also, the mounted 4-inch barrel is not original to the gun. However, the original 6½ barrel is included, along with a second set of after-market wood grips (also very nice). The owner wanted a shorter gun and wood grips, so he traded out the barrel and Hogue grips. Unfortunately, he did not retain the Hogue grips. The stainless steel is 99 percent with no marks or other signs of wear, except for a light cylinder lock ring. Both sets of wood grips are near perfect, with no marks or other signs of wear. The photos are high resolution, so zoom to see details. Contact me for additional photos of any area you would like to see or see better. The buyer pays $25 for USPS Priority mail and $29.00 for insurance. Virginia buyers must pay 5.3% sales tax. The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money orders, as they are like cash. I will ship the revolver immediately upon receipt of a USPS money order and an FFL. I will also accept a personal check or other type money, as well as bank checks and cashier's checks, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank; this includes bank checks and cashier’s checks. I do not accept credit cards, debit cards, or PayPal. Check or money order must be made out to Jerry Pownall, NOT Barboursville Arms. If you wish to contact me, please "Email Seller". I will answer your questions, explain the purchase / transfer process, and provide my mailing address. I am available any time, except Friday evenings and Saturdays. I will return emails Saturday evening. SOLD |
