Antique S&W .32 Safety Hammerless 1st Model Revolver 1893
Description: Serial #33886, .32 S&W, 3 1/2" barrel with a very good bore that has some dark freckling towards the breech-end. This revolver was made ca. 1893 and has matching numbers on the frame, barrel, and cylinder, with the metal retaining about 80-85% of the original nickel finish. There are areas of flaking on the cylinder and lower edge of the frame on the left side, as well as scattered spots of dark freckling throughout. The trigger has some visible color case-hardening remaining, and the trigger guard has about 50% of the original blue left. The checkered, hard rubber grips are numbered to the gun on the interior, and are in very good-near fine shape with no chips or cracks, but do have some flattening of the points, mainly around the butt on both sides. The lock-up is tight, without any lateral play in the barrel, and the action is fully functional. This is a very good antique "Lemon-Squeezer" overall. Antique SOLD Antique: Yes |
