CIVIL WAR ERA Smith & Wesson #2 Old Model Army Revolver
FREE SHIPPING
Description: Very nice Smith & Wesson #2 Old Model Army, serial number 23150, made early 1864, so it's Civil War era, blued finish with rosewood grips, 6" ribbed octagon barrel, 7-shot cylinder, spur trigger, single action revolver, caliber 32 Rimfire. Nice tight revolver with no wobble to cylinder or barrel/hinge. Bore is very good with just minor light black powder fouling and very strong rifling. Previous owner stated he had fired it and it shot well/functioned perfectly. Receiver and barrel are mostly patina with strong traces of blue in the protected areas around the recoil shield, cylinder, and especially under the rib. Grips show very minimal wear. Serial number matches on bottom of grip and inside of right rosewood grip. Assembly number, although faint, matches on cylinder and barrel breech. Grades NRA Antique Very Good. Hard to find with a tight hinge as most are wobbly due to wear. Will make a nice addition to your Civil War or Smith & Wesson firearm collection. Reasonable offers are welcomed and will be considered. TERMS: No international sales. Antique so it can ship directly to you assuming your local laws allow it. Please be aware of what is legal in your state. 3 day non-firing inspection. Buyer pays return shipping. Payment by bank check, personal check or money order.
