LATEST MODEL S&W by T H Ryan of Norwalk CT.
Description: "WOW, what an odd ball." If you like unique and obscure old time shooters like I do, here is one for you. I spent several days on the internet and in my books, trying to figure this gun out, and I still did not find out too much. It is chambered in .38 Smith & Wesson short. With 95% bright nickel. The rifling is strong with a couple of black powder pits. The grips are in perfect shape with no damage. The barrel, frame, and grip frame are ONE PIECE and is it ever hell for stout !*!**!***! It may have been manufactured by TH Ryan of Norwalk Ct. or possibly imported by him, although I see no proof marks. He also offered an assortment of spur trigger vest pocket guns in the 1880s. A couple of other unique features are the cylinder pin release, which at first glance looks like a hinge for a top brake. The other feature is the flat space just ahead of the spur-less hammer on the top of the frame where you lay your thumb when cocking the hammer in single action. The intent of the spur-less hammer is so you don't snag on clothing coming out of a pocket. This little gem is in perfect mechanical condition This is an antique and can be shipped directly to you.
