Description:
This is a Smith and Wesson 4th Model DA Revolver in .32 Caliber. Made from 1883 to 1909 with those under approx. 209,000 Antique as made prior to Jan. 1, 1899. This one is in the 97,000 serial range and therefore Antique under the Gun Control Act of 1968. It has about 98% of its original factory nickel plated finish. Normally, the hammer and trigger are case color hardened while the barrel latch and trigger guard are blued. This one is a little different. Instead of having the usual blued trigger guard, it has a rare nickel one. It is 100% factory original and the 3rd or 4th one we've encountered over the past 20 years. Scarce and interesting variation. All matching numbers. Excellent checkered hard rubber grips. Nice mechanics. Very tight with a Good Plus to VG Bore.
