This is a first year production & one screw frame plate. The mechanical function is very good, crisp and tight. The bore is very good, bright and shiny with only a slightly blemished bore. It retains 90% frame and barrel nickel. The cylinder retains 80% nickel finish. Trigger and hammer case color is 80%. The grips have sharp and crisp checkering. This needs a letter from the S&W Historian, beings that it is SN 157. This is a nice and desirable first year Smith.
