This is the First Model D.A. 38 with a 3.25” barrel and is one of 4000 made. It is serial number 760 and was shipped on Mar. 9/1880 to J.P. Lovell & Sons Co. Boston, MA. The bore is very good bright and shiny with strong rifling and mechanical function and lock is very good and tight. This one retains 34-40% blue on trigger guard and traces of nickel finish remaining. The grips are about very good, not chipped or cracked. Comes with Factory Letter.
