S&W First Model 38 S.A. With Green Picture Box

Description:
This is a First Model 38 AKA Baby Russian with a 3 ¼” barrel and the Original Green Picture Box. The Serial number is 1448 and has the single screw side plate which was on the first 10%. The mechanical function is very good and the bore is very good with strong rifling but does show some corrosion from the black powder priming. It retains 65-70% original nickel finish. This is 38 S&W centerfire. The box retains over 83% of the label and is in very good condition and is considered to be a very rare item.
