Description:
This is a really nice S&W Model No.1 Third Issue 22 rimfire that has 85% frame blue and 70% barrel blue in a factory fitted wood case. The serial number is 85120 with very crisp mechanical function and the barrel to frame is very tight. The bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. This was made about 1879 or 1880. The grips are excellent with nice case colors on the hammer. This comes with an empty box with a green picture label of a S&W Model No. 1 Third Issue 22 revolver on the box. The box is of 100 22 caliber No.1 pistol cartridges made by Union Metallic Cartridge Company, Bridgeport, Conn. “CAN NOT SELL TO CANADA” I would consider trades for pre 1899 ANTIQUE PISTOLS and rifles on any of my items..
