This is a S&W model no. 1 third issue last patent date is 1860. gun locks up tight, and functions very well, with very good roeswood grips , most of the original varnish. Barrel is 3 1/8" long with good rifling, and a couple patches of pitting. Would spin a bullet good and chambered for the .22 short black powder. Metal is brown patina except for the left side of the barrel, has three spots of corrosion and rust like the gun had laid in a holster on that side for a long time.Right side of barrel has spotted corrosion same reason I suspect. Might clean up better, but I don't restore these, and leave that to the new owner. We don’t have a store, and sell on the internet only. We don’t have a.
