S&W Safety Revolver 1st Model 38 S&W Caliber

Description:
First Model S&W Safety Model in 38 S&W Caliber with bone grips. Almost all of the original nickel plate has been removed. The gun is mechanically sound and locks up tight. The bore is oxidied with strong rifling. These guns were made between 1888 and 1902. This is a lower serial number so it was made prior to 1899 and is an antique and requires no paperwork.
