Guns International #: 100381776
Seller's Inventory #: 679
A very rare and desirable 1st Model American with the very early oil hole variation SN 1094. The oil hole was only made on the first 1500 or so guns. To make it even rarer it comes with a factory original very rare 6" barrel instead of the standard 8". The action works fine. The metal surfaces are a grey brown age patina. The walnut grips are slightly undersized and come from another gun marked # 6719 inside. Comes with a factory letter stating that this gun was probably sold on March 1, 1871 and delivered to M.W. Robinson Co. There were 2 groups of 25 each with no info on finishes or barrel lengths. The barrel address on this gun is centered so I know it is correct.
