Smith & Wesson #2 Old Army

Description:
.32rf, #465, 6 inch barrel, blue finish, 2 piece rosewood grips, early 2 pin frame, interesting sight added, inserted into the frame and held on by one of the pins, hammer spur may have been shortened, manufactured 1st yeat of production, 1861.

S&W Historical Foundation letter, delivered to Cooper & Pond Company, New York City.

Condition: excellent bore, 97% dull blue finish, excellent grips, excellent mechanically, excellent marks.
