Made in caliber .44 Russian for the commercial American Trade with Aug 24, 69 Russian Model stamped on top strap. Made from 1873-78 only. This is a standard gun in all respects with a 7" barrel. Gun locks up like Fort Knox. Beautiful walnut grips are mint. Gem mint bore. Gun is all clean metal, no pits of any kind. Screws are perfect . Gun is perfect except it has absolutely no finish left. As you can see, even the side plate is perfect and looks almost like a dull factory nickel. It still has some case colors on trigger guard and hammer. You can either shoot as is or if professionally restored, would look like a brand new gun. Markings perfect, gun perfect, finish gone. We debated on having a Turnbull restoration and sold that way or as is and decided to let the buyer decide. Also, gun is factory cut for shoulder stock. Interesting gun. Gun is worthy of a letter from Jinks
