Here is a Smith & Wesson New Model 3 chambered in 44 S&W Russian. The gun came to me with a coin front sight. I didn't like that much on this gun (it could have looked better than it did) so I replace the front and rear sights with target sights. The rear sight blade was made to fit an original rear target sight with no serial number. The barrel is in great shape and this gun is shootable. The gun functions perfectly. The cylinder is the 1 7/16 long one. The serial numbers match on the frame, cylinder, barrel, and the takeoff rear latch. Even though this gun shipped in 1907 the frame was made before 1899 so its and antique. If you don't want it I will keep it as a shooter.
