Guns International #: 100396110
Seller's Inventory #: 1391
Made from 1872-1874 and chambered in the .44 S&W American cartridge. It is in standard nickel finish and looks like it was re-nickeled a hundred years ago. All the markings are sharp as new. There is quite a bit of freckling to the finish but remains at about 95%. Most of the case colors remain on hammer. Trigger guard retains most of the blue finish. Excellent walnut grips are numbered but do not match this serial number. Operates and locks up like a bank vault. Bore is sharp and shiney with no rust or pits anywhere. Standard 8" barrel. Overall a nice clean early American that should shoot fine.
