Description:

Smith & Wesson Chiefs Special .38 Special caliber revolver. Very early 5-screw model made in 1953, on modified I-frame with short grip, small trigger guard and flat latch. Has original red box with instruction manual. The gun is in excellent condition with very light handling wear. The grips are of the period butt numbered to a different gun. A scarce and desirable Chiefs Special.
