Smith & Wesson Model 37-2 Chiefs Airweight, .38 Special Revolver, with 13/4-Inch Barrel
Description: Smith &Wesson Model 37-2 Airweight, .38 Special, five-shot revolver, with 1¾-Inch barrel, revolver. The gun has a black bluing finish, fixed open rear sight, fixed ramp front sight, and rubber grip panels. The overall length of the gun is 6 inches; its height is 4 inches; its unloaded weight is 15 ounces. Year of Manufacture is early 1990s. There are no box, papers, or accessories with this revolver. The overall condition of this gun is 99 percent. The only real detractors to its condition is a few very small chips exposing the alloy frame, mostly on the bottom left side of the trigger guard. The photos make it look much, much worse than it is. That's what happens with hi-res photos. The gun has been fired, but not very many times. This is evident by the facts that the cylinder-lock ring is very light and the front of the cylinder shows only a minute trace of carbon stain, which is almost impossible to entirely remove once a revolver has been fired (see photo of cylinder face). Except for the small chips mentioned above and a small amount of wear to the right side of the muzzle, the black bluing finish on the rest of the gun is unflawed; there are no blemishes, mars, or other stains. The stock rubber grips are likewise unflawed. The photos are high resolution, so zoom to see details. Contact me for additional photos of any areas you would like to see or see better. The buyer pays $25 for USPS Priority Mail and $9.55 for insurance, if desired. The fastest way to get the gun is to pay with a USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money order, as they are like cash, and I don’t have to wait for them to clear. However, I will accept a personal check, bank check, or another type money orders, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank. Check or money order must be made payable to Jerry Pownall (NOT Barboursville arms). SOLD |
