Smith & Wesson Model 37 Chief's Special Airweight .38 spl Double Action revolver 1 7/8" barrel in mint shape. This revolver only shows a very light cyclinder ring and appears unfired it had probably sat in a safe for years. The revolver comes complete with orginal box, manual, warrantee card, and cleaning kit. The original box is in excellent shape with very slight corner wear from storage. These J Frame airweight revolvers came out in 1951 and were manufactured until 2006. This one is an early one with a Serial #3j3732.
J frame Airweight have aluminum frames with the cyclinder and barrel being made of steel making these handguns extremely light. With a 1 7/8" barrel these revolvers make for a great concealed carry outfit with the simplicity of a double action. If you have any questions or would like alternate pictures please inquire.
