Beautiful high polish S&W Model 1950 four screw revolver, Cal .45 ACP, with 5.5 in. barrel, fixed sights, standard hammer/trigger/grips in high condition blue/gold box with a cleaning implements to include two loading stars and warranty cards. The revolver is of standard configuration with serrated ramp front sight and fixed groove rear sight. Left side of barrel marked “SMITH & WESSON”; the right side marked for caliber and model. Usual logo and address on sideplate and right side of frame respectively. Mod “MOD-22” marked on left side of inner frame with crane assembly number 20825. SN S211365 on butt and cylinder under extractor star. Major components blued with color case hardened hammer and trigger. Standard size walnut checkered grips with diamonds around screws and silvered S&W medallions, the right panel #189333. Complete with a correct but unnumbered Blue/Gold shipping box, referencing finish and barrel length, that includes the sleeved cleaning implements with two loading stars along with warranty cards.
Condition:
EXC+, near new, original factory finish with nearly imperceptible rub mark on right side of muzzle and thin cylinder ring. No discernible wear on grip straps or grips. Comparable condition cleaning implements. Near EXC original box with sharp edge losses and minor indentations as photographed. A very rare large bore S&W revolver in impeccable condition in a correct but unnumbered box.
