Serial #C396711, .38 Special, 2 inch pinned barrel with an excellent bore. This is the Smith & Wesson M&P Model revolver built in 1957 and shipped to the Jurek Brothers in Greenfield, Mass a police supply shop that is still in business. In excellent condition the pre-model 10 revolver retains about 90-95% of the original blue with some high edge silvering and a spot of roughness around the muzzle with a fine drag line. The serrated trigger and hammer show vibrant case-colors and the diamond around the screw escutcheon Magna style stocks with S&W medallion rate excellent and are numbered to the gun. It comes with a factory Smith & Wesson letter. A scarce configuration. FFL or C&R
