Serial #C328256, .38 Special, 2 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Smith & Wesson Post War Military & Police Pre-Model 10 revolver manufactured circa 1954-56. The K frame, 5 screw revolver has the early half moon front sight blade and is in excellent condition retaining about 94-96% of the original blue finish on the barrel, frame and cylinder with silvering around the muzzle and high edges having a few light scratches and one tiny nick on the left underside of the barrel. The hammer and trigger retain much of the original case color. The original S&W diamond grips are numbered to the gun and in excellent condition with light use marks and some very small bruises. It times properly and locks up tight. An excellent, early pre-model 10. FFL or C&R
