The left side of the barrel is marked "SMITH & WESSON" and the top is marked "SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A. / PATENTED FEB. 6. 06. SEPT. 14. 09. DEC. 29. 14". The right is marked "38 S. & W. SPECIAL CTG". The butt of the grip frame, barrel flat, and are rear of the cylinder are marked "983630" with no prefix. The butt of the grip also has a "59" stamp. The yoke and cutout are marked with matching numbers "26007". The side plate has S&W's monogram logo. There are inspection marks on the crane, its cut, and the sides of the grip frame. The inside of the right grip panel is stamped "158746". .38 Special

Chambers: 6 shot revolver.
Metal Condition: The majority of the finish remains and what's left shows various stages of wear.
Wood Condition: Light wear with a chip missing on the lower left side grip.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright with very good rifling.
Barrels: 4" barrel.
Triggers: SA/DA.
Sights: Fixed.
