An excellent original condition S&W Model HE Pre Model 10 .38 Special in factory nickel with a 5 inch barrel and marked on the backstrap with "Detroit Police 9208" which looks to be a factory roll stamped marking. Bore is excellent, chambers are excellent - revolver is probably 98% overall with custom plastic oversize target grips containing a provision for 6 cartridges in the butt of the grip along with a hinged blued steel cover over the cartridges. Grip is marked "Duel Duty". Serial number is C44255. Matching numbers on frame, cylinder, and barrel.
