Smith & Wesson Model 10 M&P .38 Special Revolver CURIO & RELIC ELIGIBLE Offered here for sale as a part of a very large collection of handguns from a large estate is this fine vintage Smith & Wesson Model 10 .38 Special revolver in excellent condition. The Smith & Wesson Model 10, originally introduced in 1899 as the .38 Hand Ejector Model, has undergone several iterations and remains one of the most iconic revolvers in firearms history. Chambered in .38 Special, this six-shot, double-action revolver is built on Smith & Wesson's K-frame and features fixed sights. Over its extensive production run, more than six million units have been produced, solidifying its status as a staple in both law enforcement and civilian use. ? Regarding this specific revolver with the serial number C348787, Smith & Wesson utilized a "C" prefix in their serial numbers from 1948 to 1967. Based on available data, serial numbers in the C300000 range were likely produced around 1954. This revolver is all original and in NEAR MINT condition. The revolver retains all of its original blue and only has some dried oil in a few recesses which are easily cleaned off. It appears that it has been used very little if at all and may be only test fired. Case colors still vibrant.
