1977 Production Smith & Wesson Model 14-3 chambered in .38 Special w/ 6 Inch Barrel**SOLD**
Description: 1977 production Smith & Wesson Model 14-3 chambered in .38 Special. This Model 14-3 has a fair share of handling wear but is exceptional mechanical condition. This Model 14-3 features a 6 inch pinned barrel, bright blue finish, checkered Magna-style grips, target hammer, serrated trigger, shrouded ejector rod, Partridge front sight, and adjustable rear sight. This Model 14-3 appears to have been fired very little but handled a good bit. The bright blue finish is still bright with a decent amount of handling wear along the edges and muzzle, and a slight drag-line around the cylinder. There is slight discoloration from surface rust underneath the grips. The bore in the 6 inch barrel is excellent, with sharp rifling and no visible imperfections. The six chambers of the fluted cylinder are equally as clean and free from any damage. The target hammer and serrated trigger still retain almost all of their original case-colored finish but do show light signs of surface rust. All of the factory markings are clean and visible, and both the face of the cylinder and the rear star are in excellent shape. The original factory grips on this Smith & Wesson are in good shape but do show minor signs of handling. The checkering is still clean on both sides of the factory grips. These original grips are nicely fit to the grip frame. The action on this particular Model 14-3 is crisp, perfectly nicely, and has a positive lock up. The Model 14 is built on the square-butt K target frame. Sorry, no box or paperwork included. PRICE: SOLD We are Antique & Modern Firearms in Lexington, KY, dealer of fine firearms since 1974.
