Serial #8K199840, .38 Special, 6" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome revolver, made ca. 1967, and retains 98-99% of the original blue finish with only a mild turn-ring on the hammer, and some minor fading on the yoke hinge indicating any use. The target hammer and trigger are likewise in excellent condition with brilliant original color case-hardening remaining. The revolver is fitted with a Patridge front sight, painted white on the rear, and the Goncalo Alves target stocks are in excellent condition with .38 Special case rim inserts at the butt on either side. The grip screw is stripped and will not tighten. The revolver is housed in a relined S&W wooden presentation case with paper and tool kit. This is an excellent example of a desirable K-Frame .38. FFL or C&R
