Smith & Wesson Model 17-4 .22 LR. Made circa 1978, serial 26K6478 has a 6-inch pinned barrel (integal serrated rib with blade front sight). Features include an adjustable rear sight, color case hammer (narrow, checkered spur), recessed cylinder, color case trigger (narrow, serrated face) and checkered wood grips. CONDITION: The bore is outstanding. Trigger pulls are smooth. The cylinder rotates without stutter and locks properly. Metal finish is approximately 90 percent. Grips have a small chip at upper right and the rear borders of the checkering are sharp. INCLUSIONS: The original box with correct end label, wax paper, rod, brush, instructions, ammo promo flyer, warranty card and service center address sheet. The price is firm and layaway is available. $850 plus shipping.
