Sold to: " Dr. 'S' " ,, 1 of 2 Sold to " Dr. 'S' " 22 Combat Mstrpc Pre-Model 18 With the More desireable 4"inch Barrel, in the 5 Screw Variation. Serial number K170,418 was Made in 1948. This particular S&W has the Early Six = 6-groove Backstrap The blue is 99.5% and it is like new, in the Box. This .22 Long Rifle S&W Revolver is real nice & clean. Mint bore, & Diamond grips and is like new in the box. The box is one of those Smith & Wesson boxes that the Factory originally made as a 6 inch barrel. The factory made use everything back then; and would often put a Label on the end of the box showing a shorter Length barrel as well. This Box has both the end label Showing that this is .22 Combat Masterpiece has a 4 inch Barrel, & Blue Finish. The point being that it is the Factory Box it came in.
