1980 Smith Wesson 19-4 Pa State Police Commemorative 75th Anniv SW .357 mag
Description: Smith Wesson model 19-4 chambered in .357 Magnum/.38 spl with a 4" barrel. This being a 19-4 it still features a pinned barrel and recessed cylinders. This 19-4 is special in that it is a 75th Anniversary Commemorative for the Pennsylvania State Police (1905-1980). Only 3,000 total were produced in 1980 and it features Gold inlaid text, presentation Stocks and presentation Wood case with blue interior. Embossing is on the lid showing the Police Insignia and a bronze plaque with the dates. Classic model 19 featuring the color case on the trigger and hammer. The adjustable rear sight and red ramp front. The engineering change of the 19-4 was to put the gas ring from yoke to cylinder in 1977. This revolver shows very high condition. The hi polish blue rates at 99%. The wood stocks are 99% too. The bore is minty. The presentation case shows some handling ,marks as expected over 45 years.
