Wonderful Smith & Wesson S&W Model 19-1, 4-Screw Revolver, boxed, circa 1962

Description:

Very high condition Smith & Wesson Model 19-1 Revolver, 4-screw assembly, cal .357 Magnum, four inch barrel, serrated ramp front sight, fully adjustable rear sight, target hammer and target diamond grips in its original blue/silver shipping box. Left side of the barrel marked “SMITH & WESSON”; right side is marked “S&W .357 MAGNUM”. Sideplate marked with S&W logo; frame with usual address/MADE IN USA. Full serial number and “MOD-19-1” marked on the left side of the inner frame along with assembly number ‘32682’, both repeated under grips on left side/butt of frame. Major components salt blued with color case hardened trigger and hammer. The grips are two-piece Goncalo Alves target Stocks with a football cut and S&W medallions. Complete with matching original blue/silver shipping box with end label referencing model, finish, caliber, and barrel length. Full serial in white wax pencil under box. Literature includes wax paper and warranty card. No tools.

Condition:

EXC+ with minuscule muzzle and sharp edge wear. Cylinder ring barely breaks finish. Same condition applies to the color case hardened parts and grips. A wonderful original condition S&W M19 Combat Magnum revolver with original box from 1962!
