Rare Pair of S&W No. 2 Army B. Kittredge Co. Cincinnati Ohio in Featured Article

Rare pair of B. Kittredge & Co / Cincinnati Ohio documented in the June 1996 issue of The Gun Report. Both 6” S&W No. 2’s are mentioned in article by serial number and surrounding history. Serial number 7129 is in very nice used but not abused condition. I will rate the original blueing in the 60 to 65% range. Revolver functions very nicely and locks up soundly. Grips are in well above condition, retaining the majority of their factory finish. There is still some nice evidence of case colors on the hammer. Serial number 47710 was the property of Lieutenant Colonel William H. Hill, 81st Ohio Volunteer Infantry. This revolver retains 45 to 50% of it’s original blue finish. Traces of case colors still present on the hammer. Action functions nicely and locks up tight. Grips are in good condition showing the majority of original finish. Both revolvers have decent bores and have matching assembly numbers. Here is a nice chance to own a pair of B. Kittredge & Co Cincinnati Ohio revolvers that are exclusively documented in a highly visible publication. Antique and can be shipped directly to your doorsteps.
