Description: ULTRA RARE Smith & Wesson No.2 Army 6in Nickel! Firearms Unlimited LLC is proud to present this beautiful Smith & Wesson No.2 revolver chambered in .32RF. The No.2 was a revolutionary sidearm developed during the Civil War, utilizing a hinged breakopen action and firing a self-contained cartridge. Col. Custer himself was known to have owned 2 of these revolvers. Only 77,000 were ever made, and less than 10% were finished in nickel. At some point it appears this pistol was professionally refinished, and we cannot guarantee that this gun was originally nickel plated. However, the refinish remains in mint condition for its age, with only a few minor spots of flaking. The wood grips are in great condition with handling wear, but no cracks. The action is very tight and smooth. The bore is excellent with only some frosting near the chamber.
